With nearly two decades of hands-on experience in the water treatment business, our specialists at RainDance Water Systems can use one hand to count the number of reasons why our system isn't working for you. The most common and easily fixed issues are improper installation, programming, or maintenance, which can swiftly and skillfully be solved by a RainDance Tech Representative. After these issues are corrected, the remaining reasons are beyond our customer's control, which would be water chemistry or manufacturer error.

Private wells and ground water sources can vary drastically, even if the wells are in the same neighborhood. That's why any water treatment company should have a hands-on approach when recommending water treatment by requiring and testing a water sample. With a current water sample, RainDance can offer our customers the assurance that a system will or won't work for them. If that system qualifies for our One Year Guarantee, you're offered even more protection that your new water treatment system will do it's job.

Once you install your new system and you notice the filter is not performing as advertised, a RainDance Tech Rep will take every measure to get your system running smoothly. If, within the first year from the purchase date, the specialized media fouls for any reason, we will send new filtration media for you to replace free of charge and let you know what changes need to be made to avoid future issues. If additional equipment is needed to protect your system, we'll provide the appropriate pretreatment at a discounted price just for you.

Terms and Conditions of One Year Guarantee:
  • RainDance Water Systems One Year Filtration Performance Guarantee covers one replacement of fouled media or membrane only. Tanks and valves for backwashing systems and RO systems include their own warranties covered further down this page. This guarantee extends to the original purchaser one year after the purchase date on the specified systems listed above.
  • To qualify for our One Year Filtration Media Performance Guarantee a current water sample or copy of your detailed water analysis must be provided to RainDance Water Systems before purchase to determine the appropriate system for you.
  • As soon as you notice decreased performance from your system, contact a RainDance Rep so we can troubleshoot all possibilities and pinpoint the root of the problem. If a rep has exhausted all efforts to correct the problem and has determined the media or membrane to be fouled, you'll receive a free replacement filter media or membrane at no charge to you. Note: During the troubleshooting process you may be asked to submit an unfiltered water sample and a sample after the filtration system.
**One Year Guarantee extends to orders made on or after April 1st, 2017.

We know that your water system is a valuable part of your home or business and it hurts when it is out of production. Our knowledgeable staff will work diligently to troubleshoot and fix your system with little down time, and in the event we find the filter media or RO membrane has fouled, we can expedite your new replacement media or membrane to get your system back up and running as soon as possible.

*Warranty:
  • The RainDance Water Systems Whole House & Commercial Reverse Osmosis Limited Warranty extends to the original purchaser of the system. This warranty covers all parts needed to repair any item that proves to be defective in material, workmanship, or factory preparation. The warranty applies for the first full year from date of purchase. Items subject to normal maintenance, such as o-rings, filter elements, etc. are not covered under this warranty. Items replaced under warranty will be warranted for a period of one year from the date of return shipment of the repaired or replacement unit to the owner.

If within the above period of time, any products shall be proven to the manufacturer's satisfaction to be defective, these products or components will be replaced or repaired at the manufacturer's option. Items subject to normal maintenance, such as o-rings, seals/spacers, filter elements, filter media, etc. are not covered under this warranty.

*EXCLUSIONS FROM THIS WARRANTY & EXTENDED WARRANTY

The warranty does not cover the following instances: 

A. Warranty exclusions applicable to all Products and Parts:

  1. Defects not reported to us within the applicable warranty period;
  2. Membrane fouling or scaling;
  3. Any items manufactured by other companies. Such items may carry warranties offered by the original manufacturers. This includes any service parts used that are manufactured by other companies, including but not limited to, motors, pistons, seal kits, spacer kits, bypass valves, brine connections & devices,
  4. Problems resulting from failure to comply with installation, operation or maintenance instructions or drawings, or improper installation, operation or maintenance;
  5. Damage caused by acts of nature or problems resulting from abuse, misuse, negligence or accident;
  6. This warranty does not cover the cost of repairs or adjustments to the unit, that may be needed, due to the use or installation of improper parts, equipment, or materials. This warranty does not cover unauthorized alteration of the unit or failure of a unit caused by such alteration or by unauthorized repairs;
  7. Damage or failure of a Product or Part caused by friction, wear, chemical attack, or debris build-up on Wear Parts. "Wear Parts" include, but are not limited to: pistons, piston rods, seals, spacers, and brine valves on all piston operated valves and parts requiring replacement under recommended maintenance procedures, such as filter housing O-rings and gaskets;
  8. Valves exposed to excessive levels of the following list of contaminants require maintenance as part of a yearly service schedule:​​
                a) Chlorine or chloramines: > 4mg/l
                b) Iron bacteria/ Sulfur reducing bacteria 
                c) pH: < 6 or > 9
                d) Excessive iron, manganese, sediment/sand over our listed parameters 
  9. Due to water conditions, some Products or Parts may require maintenance or cleaning during the warranty period. Products or Parts returned due to debris build up, including, but not limited to, plugged filters, are not covered under this warranty;
  10. Noncompliance with applicable codes, and ordinances including without limitation, plumbing codes;
  11. Damage due to impacts, corrosive liquids, gases, or chemicals;
  12. Damage due to hydro-pneumatic or pneumatic use; and
  13. Labor to install warranted parts and trip charges including mileage are the responsibility of the system owner.

 

B. Additional exclusions applicable to Residential & Commercial Mineral Tanks Products and Parts:
  1. The warranty applies only to original purchaser;
  2. Failure to operate a tank in accordance with the limitations stated on the Product label;
  3. Injury to tank or any part thereof caused by exposure to vacuum, freezing, external impact, chemical attack from liquid and gasses, fire, floods or lightning;
  4. Liner abrasion caused by faulty distribution systems; and
  5. Exposure of plastic surfaces to incompatible lubricants or sealants

 

C. Warranty does not cover shipping, labor, service or installation charges.
  1. We may, in some cases, ask you to take a digital picture of any damage or warranty claim.
  2. This warranty is granted solely to the original buyer and is not transferable.

 

All parts claimed to be defective under warranty are to be returned, freight prepaid, for inspection, unless RainDance Water Systems elects to waive the return of parts. RainDance Water Systems will require a complete description, with photographs, detailing failure of the defective part sent to us via e-mail, fax, or snail mail. An RGA number (returned goods authorization) is required prior to returning any warranty item. Any merchandise that is sent back without a return authorization number will not be accepted.

We know that your water system is a valuable part of your home and it hurts when it is out of production. Therefore if a part is determined to be non-functional after discussions with our technical support team, we can ship out a replacement part quickly to get you back up and running as soon as possible. What will be required though, is a deposit on the replacement part, typically with a credit card. Once we receive the defective part back, and evaluate it for the warranty compliance, we will issue a credit if it is deemed a warranty defect. This is necessary because sometimes we do not received the defective parts back.

RainDance Water Systems Shipping Details

 

Attention: Shipping Information Redirecting An Order:
Please make sure your shipping address is correct—we cannot redirect orders once items have been dispatched. Sorry!


All products are shipped using an independent shipping company US Postal, UPS or Freight Carrier. Shipping companies are not affiliated with RainDance Water Systems. Residential Products are typically shipped next day. Estimated time of delivery 5 - 10 business days unless noted otherwise. RainDance Water Systems shall not be liable for any failure to deliver, or delay in the delivery of any merchandise due to any cause beyond its control. Commercial water treatment systems are typically shipped within 1 to 3 weeks with the exception of our more complex systems or systems requiring customizing.

Some heavy or bulky items like whole house water filters, water softeners, and well water filters are trucked-shipped. Truck-shipped items are delivered curbside and can be delivered to a street address only.

Most whole house systems requiring delivery by freight carrier are placed in a heavy duty appliance carton. Within the carton we cushion the product with special Styrofoam pads. Then the carton is placed on a custom fabricated wooden pallet and secured to the pallet with strong plastic bands that are not only clamped in placed but also stapled to the carton. Finally, we wrap everything tightly in a plastic film to keep it clean and additionally protected. We expect our product to be delivered to you complete and packaged as described above. If it is not PLEASE REFUSE DELIVERY AND CALL US IMMEDIATELY. We will then have another system shipped to you as swiftly as possible. When you receive your merchandise. Please open all boxes immediately and check contents.

Storage:
  • Once your equipment is ready to ship we will be more than happy to store any merchandise you purchase for up to 1 week while you make arrangements for delivery. After 7 days there will be a $3 per day storage fee assessed for this service.

Claims Policy:
  • RainDance Water Systems is not responsible for damage or loss incurred during shipping. CHECK shipments for damage before acceptance. Consignee is responsible for filing a claim with the freight carrier for any and all damage or loss.

Note: We advise all customers to make note on the bill of lading that there may be concealed damage. If a customer signs for a delivery and does not note any damages, it will be the customer's responsibility to file a claim directly with the carrier. We can then send you out the parts you need.

RainDance Water Systems Returns Policy


All Sales Are *Final. No exchanges unless noted otherwise. HOLD ONTO THE ORIGINAL BOXES AND PACKAGING. *We will only accept a return if it is returned in the original manufacturer's packaging. Listed products may be returned within 7 days of receiving them; the products must be brand new (never used) and in perfect condition with all manufacturer's packaging. We charge a 30% restocking fee For All Returns all returns must be shipped prepaid. Freight collect returns will not be accepted. We do not accept returns for used products. Merchandise may not be returned after 7 days of receiving your order.

Whole house reverse osmosis systems, special ordered items, custom reverse osmosis systems, skid mount revere osmosis water systems, and seawater desalination system cannot be returned. Items that you have installed cannot be returned. Items that are not brand new and/or missing any of the manufacturer's packaging cannot be returned. Items that have been specially manufactured for your order, such as the commercial and industrial and custom whole house systems, may not be returned.

Important: RainDance Water Systems MUST be notified in writing by email:  support@raindancewatersystems.com, fax (760 896 6999), or letter before any returns including those for warranty consideration. Once this information has been reviewed we will then contact you with our shipping address for returns, warranty parts, and exchanges.

Canceled Orders:
  • Orders placed but canceled before the order has been processed are subject to a minimum $100.00 fee, and may be subject to a maximum 20% cancellation fee. Additional fees may be charged depending upon the level of completion of system or if any special parts have been ordered. Note: If order has been shipped and then canceled Customer will be responsible for any freight return charges. Special ordered items are non cancelable and non refundable.

Warranty Information
  • The RainDance Water Systems Limited Warranty extends to the original purchaser of the system. This warranty covers all parts and factory labor needed to repair any RainDance water Systems provided item that proves to be defective in material, workmanship, or factory preparation. The warranty applies for the first full year from date of purchase. Items subject to normal maintenance, such as o-rings, filter elements, etc. are not covered under this warranty. Items replaced under warranty will be warranted for a period of one year from the date of return shipment of the repaired or replacement unit to the owner.

DISCLAIMERS
  • This warranty applies if the system is installed and used in compliance with the instructions enclosed with the system. This warranty does not cover the cost of repairs or adjustments to the unit, that may be needed, due to the use or installation of improper parts, equipment, or materials. This warranty does not cover unauthorized alteration of the unit or failure of a unit caused by such alteration or by unauthorized repairs.
  • The RainDance Water Systems Limited Warranty does not cover malfunctions of your unit due to misuse, alteration, lack of regular maintenance, misapplication, tampering, experimental process, or operating at too high a recovery. In addition, damage to the unit due to fire, accident, negligence, act of God, or events beyond the control of RainDance Water Systems are not covered by this warranty.
  • RainDance Water Systems warrants the membranes per the manufacturers’ warranty. These warranties generally cover faulty material and workmanship for anywhere from 1 to 3 years. Membrane fouling or hydrolysis/ erosion will normally not be covered. The manufacturers’ warranty of elements selected will be provided on demand.
  • RainDance Water Systems warrants all items supplied by outside vendors, that are used as part of the system provided, per the manufacturer’s warranties. These warranties generally cover faulty material and workmanship for 1-10 years as specified.
  
INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • RainDance Water Systems will not assume the responsibility for payment of incidental or consequential damages, such as lost time, inconvenience, damage to personal property, loss of revenue, commercial losses, postage, travel, telephone expenditures, or other losses of this nature, which result from failure of this unit to comply with expressed or implied warranties.

OWNER’S WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Under the provisions of this warranty, the owner is expected to timely perform regular maintenance on the unit, as explained in the Operating and Maintenance Guide. Neglect, improper maintenance, abuse, or unapproved modifications may invalidate this warranty. Should the unit develop a defect or otherwise fail to perform within the provisions of this warranty, you must notify RainDance water Systems directly In order to process your claim in a timely manner a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number must be obtained from RainDance Water Systems. Include the RGA number, with an explanation of the observed defect, with the item being returned. Items returned under the RGA will be reviewed by RainDance Water Systems or forwarded to the original manufacturer for evaluation. Items returned to RainDance Water Systems must be sent prepaid.

Return Policy & Cancellations
  • Whole House Reverse Osmosis Systems, Commercial Reverse Osmosis Systems, Seawater Desalination Systems, and Nanofiltration Systems orders can be changed or canceled for any reason within three days of order date. After three days, orders cannot be exchanged, canceled, or returned. Whole house & commercial reverse osmosis, sea water desalination, and nanofiltration system orders cannot be cancelled after payment or deposit has been received or receipt of purchase order.
 
RainDance Whole House RO Packages - Warranties for Accessories:
  • Post pH Neutralizer/Remineralizer Cartridge System: 20" housing and cap has a 5 year warranty per manufacturer 
  • Post pH Neutralizer/Remineralizer Media Tank System: 10 year media tank warranty per manufacturer  
  • 200gal & 300gal & 500gal Storage Tank: Storage tank has a 3 year warranty per manufacturer 
  • Repressure Delivery Pump: 2 year warranty per manufacturer   
  • Water Alarm (Detects Leaks): 5 year warranty per manufacturer 
  • TDS Water Quality Monitor: 1 year warranty per manufacturer - there is a battery that should be replaced yearly.

Technical and Installation Support Available:
  • For years the name RainDance Water Systems has been synonymous with quality and reliability. In our efforts to provide you with world-class products and services, all water conditioners, softeners, and water well filters must pass a final inspection to insure that you receive the highest quality product. We also offer a wide array of technical support options. Once you have purchased your water treatment system(s), we will send you your installation instructions and give you our technical support phone number and support e-mail which puts you in direct contact with our support team. We do not furnish our technical support phone numbers ahead of time due too many people in the past calling simply to get free advice on our competitors systems not purchased from us. For your convenience we also offer our online Technical Support Form.

Attention to well water customers: In our web site and through contact with our sales and customer service personnel, every effort humanly possible is expended to provide you with the proper product for your water treatment needs. We offer a free water laboratory service and provide an engineering consultant to review our laboratory results or a current water analysis report if you have one available.

We feel obliged to let you know that water chemistry does change from time to time especially in arid and developing areas. Also, a water analysis report sent to us may identify a compound such as iron but not mention its form. Iron exists in at least four (4) forms and each one must be treated differently. The form that iron has one month may morph the next to something requiring new settings or even additional equipment. Other things in the water such as pH, hardness, color, bacterial level, total dissolved solids, manganese and odor also change.

As a company we offer absolutely every known process for the treatment of water. By providing as much information as possible at the time of purchase, we solve your water problem at least 99% of the time. If something changes, we are there to assist you with adjustments and to provide the items necessary to account for the changes. We do not, however, accept the return of any equipment for reasons other than proven freight damages or a major component failure that our engineers feel are best handled by equipment replacement. Our warranty is as good if not better than any in the industry and your ability to obtain post sale advice and assistance is unparalleled. We provide knowledgeable people not voicemail. We are committed to a long term working relationship with each and every customer from the time of purchase.
