Learn the benefits of our whole house TOT clean water filters with digital automatic metered control valves.This valve is controlled by a meter, which will calculate the amount of water being used.Once the meter reaches x amount of gallons, It will then initiate the backwash cycle that cleans the bed of filtration media and resets it for the next period of filtration. This is called demand-initiated regeneration which senses when the resin must be recharged, either electronically or with a meter that measures and calculates usage. A DIR system saves on potassium and regeneration water because it doesn't recharge unless necessary. In addition, it provides for unusually large water usage when you have guests.
TOT Series multi-layered filtration process represent a significant improvement over single-media filters. This is due primarily to improved filter bed action based on the innovative use and selection of filter media. TOT Series filtration permits delivery of high quality filtered water at greater filtration capacities, as compared to a conventional filter.
