From California to Texas to New York to Hong Kong Brew Masters Have Been Successfully Using RainDance Water Systems Carbon Filters For Chlorine & Chloramine Removal
The most common reason for Beer Breweries installing our RDWS-CARB Carbon Filters is to remove chlorine and other chemicals from your water supply thus, improving the taste and odor of your water. Carbon filters from RainDance Water Systems can filter chlorine, chloramine, herbicides, insecticides, pesticides, thms, and chemical odors to improve water quality for your craft beer making, distillery, agriculture & growing business and restaurant drinking water. Our customers have enjoyed excellent water quality from our virtually maintenance & chemical free carbon filtration systems.
Note: Chloramine is now used as a disinfectant by many municipal water providers we now include both chlorine and chloramine removal with our carbon filters!
New from RainDance Water Systems: FREE Chlorine/Chloramine Test Kit Included With Your Brew Master Carbon Filter System The easiest way to know if your Brew Master carbon filter is working is to test for both chlorine or chloramines. Water treatment facilities can change their treatment process without notice and usually change the amounts of disinfectants used depending on the season. With simple, quick, and easy to use test strips that give reliable readings, every carbon system that filters city water should not be without them. These test strips are used to identify if your city uses chloramines or chlorine as the main disinfectant. Test strips are also used to determine how well your filter is working and when it is time to change your carbon media. They allow you to take a quick reading from your tap water to determine the Total Chlorine and Free Chlorine levels. If the Free Chlorine reading matches the Total Chlorine reading then no chloramines will be present. However if the Total Chlorine is greater than the Free Chlorine reading your city is using chloramines. |
Our RDWS-CARB Series can accommodate much higher flow rates than listed. Generally, the lower the flow rate, the more time the contaminant will have to diffuse into a pore and be adsorbed. Adsorption by carbon is almost always improved by a longer contact time. Thus, we've decided to list the recommended flow rate for optimum filtration and removal.
Typical Applications: Craft Beer,
Distillery, Beverage Production, Restaurant Drinking Water,
Protection of ion exchange resins from chlorine and organic
fouling
