Reverse Osmosis System Designs
> Waters which are brackish and high in sodium and total dissolved
solids (TDS) may require reverse osmosis water filtration. Our
Reverse osmosis systems employ a semipermeable membrane that
removes not only particles but also an extremely high percentage
of dissolved contaminants-molecule by molecule- from raw tap

- The RDWS-NS Series: nextSand
Sediment Filters. These maintenance-free systems are completely
chemical and salt free. In other words they do not require salt
pellets or chemicals for backwashing. Designed for whole house,
irrigation, and commercial applications. Our NS Series provides
filtration down to 3-5 microns. RainDance Water Systems nextSand
filters can be used on any domestic or industrial application
where optimum sediment and turbidity removal is required.
RDWS- NS Series Standard Features:
RDWS-NS Series is maintenance free!
RDWS-NS Series filter initiates an automatic backwash cycle during
backwash, the direction of water flow is reversed, stirring up
the filter bed, and loosening the trapped particles.
Drain water is reusable!
No chemicals need for regeneration !
No salt needed for backwashing!
No costly cartridges to change!
Filters sand down to 3-5 microns

Filters sediment down to 3-5 microns
Filters turbidity
Long lasting media up to 5 years

Simple to Install - connect inlet /outlet - drainline and plug

The RDWS-NS Series has a great warranty!
The RDWS-NS Series is considered a maintenance free sediment
water filter. There are no routine filters to replace and requires
no chemicals. The RDWS-NS Series will filter and clarify your
water by filtering turbidity, sand, silt, sediment and suspended
solids in the water. It will also improve the color of your water.
The RDWS-NS series is controlled by a selfbackwashing control
valve which will initiate a 20 minute backwash and then a 15
minute rinse (some applications require longer backwashes) approximately
every 3-5 days depending on sediment levels. The filtration media
will need to be exchanged approximately every 5 years*. This
is easily accomplished with the use of a wet & dry vacuum
which you use to vacuum out the old filtration media from the
top of the filter. You then replace it with a new bed of filtration
media which will last approximately another 5 years*. This is
the only maintenance that the system will require. * Some applications
may require a more frequent replacement interval.

a 10gpm flow rate
RDWS-NS-125-12: Designed for a 15gpm flow rate
